Ever get mad that something went under your radar back when you really would have been into it? The caps-lock & symbols conjure witch-house associations, but they prefer ‘mythical filth pop.’ Hard not to think Purity Ring when you hear that and this is in that vein, especially with the soothing female vocals provided by Kelsey Bulkin, though they are rather R&Besque. On the production side is Sabzi who is behind some other things I haven’t heard.

Sample track’s got some trap going on, it’s a pretty mixed bag. The hook on ‘Holla Mears’ is straight up another song but I can’t put my finger on which… but the rest of the track is just as goddamn catchy so I’m OK with it? Below is a link to the project’s second effort, the self-released EP entitled APORIA: IN THESE §TREETS.
